Real Estate Tax

This is similar to the UK's 'Council Tax'. Real Estate Tax usually ranges from between one and two per cent of the property's value. These are largely based upon the assessed value of the property by the municipalities. Homeowners Association (HOA)

Homeowners Association (HOA) fees are similar to 'service charge' in the UK.  HOA fees are typically paid monthly and run on average from $100-$400 per month. HOA fees covers the cost of the amenities and services being provided by the community, such as a concierge, pool, fitness centre, sport courts, master insurance, communal areas, landscaping, water, etc.

Property Management

Property management will cost between 10% to 15% of rental income and are generally paid on a monthly basis.
