Salvador da Bahia is the capital city of Bahia and is one of the brightest gems in Brazil's crown. Here the descendants of African slaves have preserved their cultural roots more than anywhere else, giving it it's title as the African soul of Brazil. In Salvador you will find a wealth of culture, culinary, musical, dance and martial arts traditions.

Economically, the state of Bahia is the sixth largest in the country and is connected to the main economical centres of Brazil and the world.
