Increasing Air Travel Proves Case for Brazil Property Investment

We are always hearing about the growing middle class in Brazil, and the growing affluence within that middle class. One of the best measures of this is in demand for life’s luxuries like internet use and air travel.

So, as an indication of Brazil’s massively growing affluence, Anna Aero has just revealed that demand for domestic air travel in Brazil grew 30% in August, following a growth of 15% in July. Demand for international air travel grew 30% in both months. However, this is tempered by the fact that demand for international air travel fell 10% last year.

A 10% fall is nothing in comparison to the 20% growth in domestic and international passenger numbers this year. Also, according to Infraaero The total number of passengers through Brazil’s airports in the first eight months of this year reached 99 million, a 23% increase on the same period of last year.

In mid-August TAM, one of Brazil’s largest airlines, launched new non-stop flights from Rio de Janeiro to both Frankfurt and London.

Things like this have to be taken as proof positive of the growing affluence within Brazil. What is also proven (by time and history) is how growing affluence increases demand for quality property. That is why so many experts are currently recommending affordable housing developments in Brazilian cities as one of the best property investments in the world.

Previously, finding out how to buy such properties in Brazil was a problem, but Colordarcy is proud to present the Dr Geraldo Furtado development in Petropolis; one of the most exclusive residential areas in Natal. The development is currently priced at a verifiable 20% below market value, with 2 bedroom apartments available from just £53,000, with a 6% rental guarantee in the first four years.
